About the Job

We are looking for a highly-motivated Product Manager with a specialized focus on financial markets to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial markets, particularly cryptocurrency markets, and a proven track record of driving growth initiatives within a product management capacity. This role demands strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration to drive product enhancements and facilitate user acquisition.

This role will report directly to the Head of Product in a fast-paced startup environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product initiatives. From conceptualization to execution, you will help to drive the development and launch of innovative new products and features, catering to the diverse needs of institutions worldwide. Collaborating closely with engineers, designers, analysts, sales teams, and other cross-functional business groups, you will lead research efforts, define product requirements, and oversee development cycles to deliver exceptional solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough market analysis to discern emerging trends, pinpoint lucrative opportunities, and assess the competitive landscape within the crypto technology market.
• Develop and implement a robust product strategy to propel growth and foster user engagement across the product suite.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define clear product roadmaps and prioritize feature development that aligns with strategic objectives.
• Gather and articulate clear product requirements based on market research, user feedback, and strategic objectives. Collaborate internally to ensure alignment and product feasibility.
• Continuously drive product enhancements to elevate the user experience and increase engagement. Engage cross-functional teams to conceptualize, prioritize, and execute product improvements.
• Support the sales team in attracting new users to Membrane’s suite of products by leveraging diverse acquisition channels.
• Forge strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment of growth initiatives with overarching business objectives. Communicate product updates and performance metrics succinctly and effectively to senior management.
• Employ user insights and data analytics to monitor KPIs and drive informed decision-making regarding product features, pricing strategies, and user acquisition tactics.

Requirements

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US
• The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of identifying customer needs, defining/launching MVPs, testing product-market fit, and delivering excellent products.
• 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in financial markets, cryptocurrency, or fintech.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, economics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and traditional finance markets, including prime brokerage/trading businesses, trade lifecycle workflows, financing and risk operations, and collateral management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively internally and externally in a B2B environment.
• Desire to be at the center of a fast-moving startup environment. Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to grasp technical concepts and quickly establish credibility with engineers.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and enterprise-grade software development processes.
• Experience with product management tools such as ProdPad, Jira, or Trello is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 annually.

The above does not include potential performance-based bonuses or equity upside. Ultimately, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors in determining total compensation.
