Role Summary:
As a Senior Machinist on the Night Shift, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operation of CNC machining equipment to produce precision aerospace hardware. You will work independently to set up, operate, and troubleshoot advanced machining operations, ensuring consistent performance and quality during off-hour production.
Key Responsibilities:
Run complex parts on CNC mills, lathes, and 5-axis machines during the night shift with minimal supervision.
Utilize MasterCAM for toolpath generation and modification for complex aerospace parts.
Set up tooling, adjust offsets, and perform changeovers to meet production demands.
Perform quality checks throughout the machining process using CMMs and hand tools.
Maintain tight tolerance machining for aerospace components.
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues independently.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety on the shop floor during overnight operations.
Provide feedback to the day team for continuous improvement and process development.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with CNC machining, including mill, lathe, and 5-axis systems.
3+ years of experience with MasterCAM programming.
Experience working independently or on off-shifts in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
Proficient with Fanuc, Brother, or Haas controllers.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work hands-on in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or GED required.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations.
