  • Follow up with suppliers regularly to resolve delivery issues, confirm ship dates, and maintain accurate order progress records.

Material Availability & Coordination

  • Collaborate with receiving and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies, blocked invoices, and receiving issues.

  • Communicate proactively with engineering, planning, and production teams to align on material priorities and program needs.

Supplier & Data Management

  • Assist in onboarding new suppliers, obtaining quotes, and setting up vendor master data in coordination with supply managers and finance.

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier communications for traceability and audit readiness.

Process Improvement & Support

  • Participate in continuous improvement of procurement workflows and support the implementation of supply chain tools and dashboards.

  • Assist in sourcing and supply chain development activities as directed.

  • Support cross-functional projects and broader supply chain initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Business, or equivalent (3+ years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree).

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in enterprise applications (e.g., PLM, ERP, MES) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with engineering, production, and planning teams.

Preferred Background

  • Familiarity with defense industry compliance requirements (e.g., ITAR, EAR, NDAA).
