Role Summary: The Fabrication Technician is responsible for supporting general manufacturing needs, building test rigs, and modifying aircraft, among other projects. This role requires a combination of mechanical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabrication experience: This includes welding, sanding, grinding, bonding, painting, and other fabrication tasks as required by the manufacturing team.
Modification: Apply changes or modifications to fixtures as directed by the engineering staff.
Material Handling: Select and prepare materials needed for prototyping tasks.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to achieve project goals.
Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in prototyping or a closely related field.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations.
