Role Summary: The Fabrication Lead will have the opportunity to stand up Mach's fabrication shop from the ground up and eventually oversee a team of technicians. The fabrication shop is responsible for supporting general manufacturing needs, building test rigs, modifying aircraft, among other projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication Expertise: This includes welding, sanding, grinding, bonding, painting and other fabrication tasks as required by the manufacturing team.

• Team Leadership: Proven ability to organize a team of technicians and execute on tight deadlines.

• Machine Maintenance: Domain knowledge for repairing heavy machinery, including CNC mills, lathes, routers and water jets.

• Facilities Maintenance: Ability to fix basic lighting, HVAC, plumbing and electrical maintenance issues in a manufacturing facility.

• Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and compliance guidelines.

• Autonomy: Source materials and tools for projects with little guidance.

• Communication: Extremely effective communicator, who can operate well in high-stress environments with different teams.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in fabrication or a closely related field.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
