Role Summary:
The Product Technician is responsible for supporting the engineering team in prototyping and testing of military aircraft. This may include physical assembly, maintenance, wire harness installation and physical flight testing support.

Ideal candidates can operate with high degree of autonomy and posses self ownership. Ideal candidates may also have experience in prototyping in R&D environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prototype Assembly:
   Assemble prototype models based on engineering or design specifications. Ability to user power tools and precision measuring equipment.

2. Testing:
   Conduct functionality tests on prototypes, making note of performance and any issues. Travel to test site regularly with engineering team.

3. Documentation:
   Maintain accurate records of prototypes, including assembly processes, materials used, and test results.

4. Collaboration:
   Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to achieve project goals.

5. Feedback Loop:
   Provide feedback to engineering and design teams for design improvements or adjustments.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in prototyping or a closely related field.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.

• Basic understanding of CAD software is a plus.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations.
