The Opportunity at Komodo Health
At Komodo, we partner with organizations throughout the healthcare ecosystem to improve patient care and reduce disease burden through data-driven insights. Our diverse clients have a range of familiarity with healthcare technicalities and we strive to provide products designed to be simple enough for a layperson while also allowing power users to explore our data with all the depth and sophistication they require.
As a Product Designer, you will own end-to-end design of experiences that meaningfully enhance people’s lives and help get us closer to our revenue goals, and will work to build a shared understanding of the personas we serve.
Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have…
- Owned the end-the-end design of high impact features, including facilitating the user research and experimentation to create a user-centric experience
- Worked closely with engineers and product managers on your team to identify trade-offs and ensure that designs are feasible
- Collaborated with marketing and sales teams to gather customer feedback, identify highest priority pain points, and ensure pull-through into our products
- Contributed to prioritization of UX improvements for the products you work on based on business goals and qualitative/quantitative research
- Contributed to the Fire Design System
- Incorporated experimentation, usage analytics, and quantitative insights into your product and design decisions
What you bring to Komodo Health:
- Experience with experimentation, quantitative research, and usage analytics as a tool to test hypotheses and inform design decisions
- Mastery of design tools that the team uses to date, such as Figma or similar
- Comfort collaborating with cross-functional colleagues on your team such as product, engineering, and customer success
- A track record of executing at every stage of the design lifecycle from research to ideation to delivery
- A portfolio that shows you’ve taken complex concepts and turned them into approachable human-centered solutions

Where You’ll Work
Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
